Elections
The term of the MCGA Board of Directors is two years. The MCGA holds elections every two years in April during even-numbered years to fill those posts. The MCGA Board of Directors is comprised of four (4) officers and three (3) at-large board members elected by the MCGA membership. The date of the election will be determined by the Board and announced to the membership.

Nominations
At least 30 days prior to the election, the Board of Directors will notify the membership of an upcoming election. When the nomination process is opened, members must submit the names of potential candidates (members in good standing) to the Board for consideration. The Board then vets these candidates prior to adding them to the slate of official candidates for election. Nominations from members can be submitted through this Google form.

Election
Voting by members shall either be in-person on the date of the election or by proxy through a special email address. The candidates receiving the greatest number of votes cast for that office shall be elected. Proxy votes must be submitted prior to the date of the election.
