210 Cup Match Play MCGA vs PAGA January 6-7, 2024

  • Saturday Jan 6, two rounds at Starcke Park with shotgun starts, first round is @ 8:00 a.m., the second around 1:00 p.m.
  • Sunday Jan 7, one round at The Quarry with tee times starting at 10:00 a.m.
Green fees for all three rounds $180.00 (approx.) Meals are at your own expense.

Player Eligibility Requirements (details at bottom of page)

  • Fully paid Season 31 MCGA members get selection preference over any others!
  • Players must be able to play ALL THREE Match Play rounds! Do not sign up if you cannot play all three rounds.
  • A $100 advance deposit must be paid to MCGA no later than the end of the day December 30, 2023 -- NO EXCEPTIONS!!

​This special event is a "Ryder Cup" style competition pitting a team of 24 players from the Mission City Golf Association (MCGA) versus a team of 24 players from Pan America Golf Association (PAGA). The event will be contested over two days, with two rounds played on Saturday January 6, 2024 at Starcke Park Golf Course in Seguin, Texas and one round played on Sunday January 7, 2024 at The Quarry Golf Club in San Antonio, Texas.
  • Any MCGA member desiring to be on the MCGA team must first sign up using the Sign Up form above. Texts or phone calls to Board members will not be considered! A successful form submission will place the player on the event sign up list.
  • Next, the member must pay a $100.00 advance deposit with MCGA, either through Venmo or given to the Treasurer directly in order to be considered. The $100.00 deposit must be on account by the end of day December 30, 2023. Otherwise, the next verified member on the sign up list having paid the $100.00 deposit will be considered.
  • Places on the team will be given to the first 24 verified MCGA members with a paid $100 deposit on account, in the order the deposit was received. MCGA will make available later a separate list of confirmed players for the event. In the event of a smaller PAGA team size, MCGA reserves the right to reduce it's team size in order to meet PAGA.
  • If MCGA is not able to fill the necessary number of spots on the team roster with verified MCGA members by the end of the day on December 30, 2023, consideration will then be given to non-members from the Standby List who have paid the $100.00 advance deposit.
  • The $100 deposit will be refunded in the event a player does not make the team roster.
