Player Handicaps

In order for MCGA members of varying skill to compete against one another in a fair manner, the MCGA provides a handicap system for each event*. Handicaps are calculated after each and every official round and adjust depending upon the member's most recent scores. The report below shows the upcoming event and the official tee boxes that will be used during the competition. For Men, the Men's Standard tee box and handicap is the basis for the competition and all other tees shown are adjusted from as shown. For Women, the Women's Standard tee box and handicap shall be used.

NOTES REGARDING THE HANDICAP REPORT:
- Players highlighted in gold in the report are eligible to play the Forward Tees using the corresponding handicap.
- Players highlighted in green in the report have a tee handicap greater than 30 but are capped at 30.
- If a player's current age plus their Standard Tee handicap (first column) is equal to or greater than 80 then they are eligible to play the Forward Tees using the corresponding handicap.
* A full explanation of the handicap system used by the MCGA can be found here.

Please note that for 2-day events a player's handicap for Day 2 will be based on their performance on Day 1, and it may be different than Day 1.
MCGA will use the Handicap for the Course (standard tee handicap) when applying the tee adjustments.
