San antonio Golf courses closing due to amended covid-19 Order

The City of San Antonio and Bexar County have amended the "Stay Home, Work Safe Order" today to add new, more severe measures including; "Closes all municipal and private golf courses and driving ranges (including frisbee courses)." In response to this, The Alamo City Golf Trail, which includes all city-owned San Antonio golf courses, also issued a news release today that all ACGT golf facilities would comply with the amended order and close for the remainder of the month of April,  and reopen Friday May 1st, 2020.
Non-ACGT courses should be announcing their plans shortly. SilverHorn Golf Club sent an email today that they would be honoring the Mayor's order and is now closed. Other San Antonio and Bexar County courses should be following suit shortly. Stay tuned for further updates.
